Food: I usually eat protein-rich foods. I usually eat out but I will choose healthy options like ordering chicken breast instead of the normal chicken rice.

I don’t follow a strict diet, but when I have a picture or movie coming up I cook myself foods like prawns, fish and eggs.

Exercises: I train several days a week focusing on strength and power. My training consists of heavy weight calisthenics such as muscle ups, pull ups and dips followed by weight lifting.

Q: When you were young, were you active in sports?

Answer: I played a lot of sports in school and represented the school in football, soccer, cross country and track and field.

On top of the game, since 2007, I was already dancing and performing at various events as well.

What did you get into growing up?

As a former performer at Universal Studios Singapore, I only learned the art of figure skating, stilt walking, poi, unicycling in the past few years.

You are an active person with many physical interests. Tell us more.

Currently, in addition to calisthenics and powerlifting, I also do breakdancing, exotic dancing, walking, cycling, rowing, ice skating, hiking, surfing, pole dancing, tumbling, unicycling, kettlebell juggling and more. I choose to be a jack of all trades (or some would say a jack of all trades), rather than just one game.

I love learning new skills and experiencing different life experiences. In our society, we are often expected to do whatever we can. However, I want to push the boundaries and show the world that it doesn’t have to be that way. Go abroad to learn and experience anything and everything.

What are your fitness goals?

My fitness goals have always been to push the limits of the human body, to be as strong as I can slowly in life and to be the fastest.

As a personal trainer, fitness model and actress, is there any pressure to get in shape?

I have already kept my body fat around 10 percent or below for the past 20 years or so. How I need my appearance to be a certain type at work,

I am not stressed because Ive always lead a very active life which helps me to be fit.

Have you ever experienced anything that made you doubt yourself?

No, I have never been insecure. About 10 years ago, my father had a serious illness and almost died. At that time, I was very worried. I used to go breakdancing (my bboy days) for six hours every day, then come home to the gym in the middle of the night to train myself.

I kept pushing my body until I was too tired to think about anything and just fell asleep. After this happened, I learned to see life as if it could be taken away at any moment and I learned to appreciate everything around me.

When was the last time you felt insecure?

I used to be a normal person, I didn’t even dare to order food by myself as a child. However, at the age of 17, I won a school pageant. This is when things changed.

I was then approached by a number of media organizations where my work involved speaking to all kinds of people, doing physical exercises and being in pictures and videos with large groups. In addition, I was dancing in many places and joined Universal Studios Singapore as a singer where I got used to acting, acting or dancing in front of a crowd.

Have you ever struggled with your body?

No, I can proudly say that I have never allowed myself to lose any body fat in my entire life even though I was seriously injured and had to train for over a year to get back to where I started. I have been weighing 73kg-75kg over the years.

Are you satisfied with your body?

Yes, I will be satisfied with my body every time. My current body is honed from the many different skills Ive acquired throughout the years such as skating, dancing, curling, calisthenics, weight lifting and other performing arts.

Do you get comments on your body?

I have only received positive comments about my body.

If you could change anything about yourself, would you?

No, I wouldn’t want to. People don’t see or understand the time and sacrifices I’ve made for the life and body I have now and I wouldn’t give up anything for that.
